Rodrigo Emmanuel Franco

Rodrigo E. Franco is a Philippines citizen. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines. He is President and Chief Executive Officer at Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC), developer and operator of the Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC) tolls. As CEO of MPTC, he heads a number of toll road management companies belonging to the Group, including NLEX Corporation (formerly Manila North Tollways Corporation or MNTC), Tollways Management Corporation (TMC), Cavitex Infrastructure Corporation (CIC), and MPCala Holdings, Inc. Currently, MPTC is the concession holder of North Luzen Expressway (NLEX), Subic Clark Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX), Cavite Laguna Expressway (CALAX), and the Cebu Cordova Link Expressway that will soon be built. In addition to investing in PT Nusantara Infrastructure, MPTC also invests in a number of toll road companies in Thailand and Vietnam. He has more than 20 years experience at JPMorgan Chase Bank, where he served as Vice President for Investment Banking until he left the Manila branch of JPMorgan Chase at the end of 2002. During his tenure, he contributed to a number of fundraising activities in several Philippine companies through international and capital market loans. He also participated in the planning and implementation of a number of mergers and acquisitions, equity markets, and loan and bond restructuring transactions.
